Back at the campground, after spending the day exploring rocky shorelines and venerable lighthouses overlooking Caribbean-like water, we watched the evening sun cast a glow over this precious land in the Bruce Peninsula (in Ontario). The pictures I took of Tessi, my dog, basking in that evening light embody some of the most pleasant days of my life.
I’ve used one of these pictures as the header above.
Tessi and I have discovered some extraordinary places together, and I have discovered travelling with a pet isn’t always easy. Many locales either don’t allow dogs or enforce restrictions on them. Then there are some areas that just aren’t safe. In my Travel Writings section, I’ve written about my experiences of travelling with Tessi. I want to share with others what I have learned.
I’ve also added a Photography section that includes several topics – animals, nature and travel.
The Doggy News and Info page lists resources that may be of interest to you. If you have a travel destination to add, please send me an email with the information.
For those armchair travellers out there, I’ve listed Travel Books I, and others, have enjoyed reading. Since there’s always a desire in finding the next great book to read, I welcome contributions to the list.
